Set a site which mainly gets traffic from Pinterest for affiliate

Can I setup a website to promote etsy products in 2021?

I mean set a site which mainly gets traffic from pinterest, not from SEO.

I write blog posts with etsy affiliate links to promote products, and then pin the blog link on Pinterest, will it work?

Etsy Affiliate ToS says social sharing sites are prohibited from participating in the Affiliates.

So I was wondering if this method would avoid the problem.

But there is a bug, the mobile users of Pinterest open my website within the Pinterest app, not with phone browser, and then click aff link on my website, then jump to the etsy product page.

Will etsy detect that the visitor who clicked on my aff link is from Pinterest? and will I be punished?

Anyone ever done this before? Let me know your views.

Etsy and many other affiliate networks won't allow social traffic to stop spam. If they allow it, there will be many people spamming their affiliate links all over the social media. You can drive traffic to your site and then to Etsy. I've seen many people doing it and there shouldn't be a problem.
