I'm from Italy, luckily I don't live in a big city and there aren't cases close to me. No fucking way I'm going to crowded places.
Every sport activity and crowded place has restriction right now (pools, gyms, cinemas etc), but I don't think they will be able to really enforce them. (1-2
Apart from the red zones everyone is going to work without masks. Authorities say that masks are recommended only for the infected ones.
I just saw my relatives today and that was risky enough

But if you dare and try to call a few hotels, you may be able to get a pretty decent 5 star suite in Venice for like 80€ /night, maybe they'll make a better offer too if you book a whole month

(Tom Cruise was stuck in Venice until a few days ago, he flew away in his own jet but what if he took the virus, as he was filming with the whole troupe

)
I think that they closed schools way too late. I have a feeling that many children got the virus and are still in the incubation period.
And if a children got the virus, now that they are all day at home it'll spread to the whole family. Then someone from that family has to go out to work and it'll spread at workplace etc
It's a shitty situation.
I know it's crazy to halt a whole nation, but can you afford ~3% of deaths if it spreads big?
Also many get the virus but have no symptoms, they just infect others without even knowing
I'd say don't fully trust politicians, they don't really give a damn about people's health, they're thinking of not scare people too much otherwise the country would default pretty quickly... that's why I prefer to be paranoid.
They are telling us that a vaccine here will take as much as 12 months to be ready.
