yeah yeah, it's just a flu and medics screaming it's full of 20-30yo with sudden pneumonia in ICUs here are only a bad dream...
I have direct contact with medics, don't believe the national media that has to follow what the gov tells them... gov thinks about the country's GDP, medics care about lives.
e.g. one BIG hospital is full now, there's already the "Do Not Intubate" order in full force to anyone over 60 until more beds are available. We are talking about people not able to inhale.
If you get what that means...
a guy went to ER, he hadn't any symptoms, not even fever and was sent back home. A medic got fever after a few days. After a week the whole ER is locked for sanitizing and 15 medics & nurses got CoVid19...

And even far more people die from natural causes daily. Doesn't mean viral pneumonia causing pathogen with no immunity among the human population is trivial thing. The logic.

I do think this thing got out there long before we were told about it.
It didn't spread as fast as everyone said it did. It got loose then the crisis began in late 2019. When they let us know there probably already thousands infected.
One doctor tried to warn everyone in December but no one listened. Was kinda like when I first posted about it, tons of comments were dismissive about it.

Err, the death toll is about the same as the Spanish flu which killed 1.7% of the global population.
It's not by any means like the Flu or trivial.

I heard some doctors here in Italy saying this thing was around long before Christmas... they had weird pneumonia cases in ERs at the time but nobody yet knew/tested for coronavirus. Symptoms are like the flu, they were handled like regular flu unless they had serious breathing problems...
some updated stats from Italy:
only 24% of positive cases are hospitalized
age distribution of 8342 positive cases (out of 50k tests done):
1,4% below 19-years old
22% 19yo to 50yo
37,4% 51yo to 70yo
39,2% over 70yo.
Average age 65yo
Gender stats: 62,1% male (no gender jokes allowed
)
Death stats
over 50% of deaths are over 80yo
over 66% of the deaths already had already THREE or more chronic pre-existing diseases
Stats are not "that" scary, let's be honest it's not like the Black Death. As long as hospitals are well handled and aren't overrun and the spread is kept under control...
