Oops. Turns out there was $2.4k unpaid in my Amazon account. Hard to argue with that. Sorted some paperwork so I get paid by them so that was productive.
Aiming low competition with a half decent domain was enough to get to page 2. Cool. Not quite what I was after but a start I guess. It might rank better with a more traditional style and structure. I suspect this funnel build makes things a little harder but I'm not ready to give up on the idea yet. Considering the traffic numbers for some of these it might be worth taking it further and actually starting some link building.
To start with I've bought two link packages for one of the smaller sites. I'm really not a fan of using them normally. I don't disavow links but I do like being able to control them so I can remove or change them if needed. Buying links like this doesn't give me that option.
However, if the domain and some content would cost me about $100 and a stack of links is enough to rank it for $200 it doesn't need to last that long to make a return.
So I'll leave that one a few weeks. Going to focus on rebuilding the onsite content for my authority site and building up some backlink building scripts. If the link pack makes enough of a dent then my focus will be back on this and I'll start scaling it up some more.
