Hi, I found that there is a huge difference in keyword difficulty for some keywords in Moz and SEMrush. What is the reason and what is the best tool? :-)
I am a newbie in SEO and love to learn. So please suggest me a complete guide in BHW or any external resource. Thank you :)

Every tool is designed to give you an estimation with maximum accuracy. That's how it is, and there's no perfect tool to grab low hanging kws.

Every keyword that you search in one tool will show some different volume and difficulty levels in another tool. The best i can suggest is to stick to relevant keywords and also try to use question keywords as this will help you to gain rank very soon.

Each tool uses its own metrics in judging the keyword's difficulty of ranking. Its good to compare them to other tools to make a better decision.

I typically use Semrush myself and compare the keyword I decide on with Ahrefs' free keyword tool to check KD levels. This lets me know if I should go after the word or not even if the difficulty is higher on Semrush.

There is no perfect tool till now that will solve your problems. You need to test yourself what's working for you.

Sadly, that is nothing new. Different tools will not be consistent with ranking keywords by difficulty. Ahrefs is especially notorious for its lack of precision when it comes to KW difficulty. That is why using multiple tools is pretty much expected when doing any serious SEO.
There is no best tool, though most people tend to use Ahrefs in general and SEMrush for KW difficulty. If you can afford both, you should do so as well. There is really no better way to do your KW-based research.
As for a complete guide, the link @3bisu has posted should give you what you need. Just pick the highest-rated guide from there.
Good luck!

Each tool has a different strategy, my suggestion is to analyze on both. SEMrush is anyhow better one.

I think you should try UBERSUGGEST. It is one of the best keyword research tools.

Each tool has its formula for calculating data. You can use those tools to get some ideas, but you can't get the final result.
