Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to this knowledgeable community as I'm encountering a challenging situation. I run a website that serves as a traditional landing page for customers to purchase. My primary marketing strategy has been through Google News articles ( guest post i guess ). However, the return on investment has been rather disappointing given the considerable resources I've poured into this method - around $20,000 just on articles alone.

The website domain was established only two months ago and recently, I've begun to supplement our main content with a blog on a subdomain. Despite these efforts, the conversion rates remain disconcertingly low.

I see roughly 150 impressions on an average day, but only around 2 clicks 'can vary'. It's particularly puzzling as we're ranking first on search results for our brand keyword.

I'm wondering if I could gather your perspectives - do you believe that Google News articles are genuinely worthwhile? Have any of you experienced similar situations? If so, how did you navigate it? Any experiences, tips, or potential solutions that could boost my revenue would be greatly appreciated, especially from those familiar with the financial niche.

I'm really looking forward to learning from your shared wisdom.

P.S. - Some posts are made on Reddit, but that's not that crazy. No other social signal; we just post the Google news article over our social media account but that's it. Yes, i think I'm missing a Big piece in this puzzle...
