1. go to all his vendors that sell his product and request a backlink from their website to his to increase backlinks.
2 create a blog about different topics that people might search for online such as best ammunition for home/personal Defense, how to load, how to clean weapons, how to blah blah.
3 seek out youtubers/bloggers/webmasters that review or talk about different brands of ammunition and introduce an affiliate program that they could promote.

And that's where I'm at. Please, if you could help me with a few ideas as this is my biggest client since Motorhead's Lemmy passed away. Thank you

What about a contest or give away on a social media campaign? Something as dumb as a year membership or more at whatever range if they participate in a social media firing of your ammo? Win the gun of your dreams with a year supply of x's rounds? A winner in every state?

If you know guns and ammo you know that people go for either: high quality for marksmen or hunting, then you have junk which are often the quality of stuff sold in regular stores purchased by those which do not know better or want rounds to shoot for fun.

This is general marketing, but you need to know which your client is and find foruns and blogs which use the same quality stuff.

Some ammo bloggers do it for fun at a range only, and will run cheap stuff through a gun without problem. They then blog about cleaning the gun and about how often the cheao stuff jams the gun.

Others with higher end ammo do care jamming but in respect to the fact that it should never happen. This group cares about accuracy.

Find which your client is and go after blogs and forums.

If doing general seo, look up long tails, geographic areas and build a brand. If you dont you will be going up against a lot of large niche stores as well as a lot of big box stores in the hunting / fishing / outdoor realm.

That is just my opinion. I never had a client or a site in the niche but know you are working with a fickle niche.

General over the shelf ammo, the proof is on paper. Most bulk ammo purchases I make is from word of mouth, range talk, online reviews and forums. Shooters only buy cheap ammo once in their life. If the product is good, accurate and reasonably priced, seek out some of the YT top gun reviewers. Send them a case or two for their next round of gun reviews. Ammo isn't cheap and gun reviewers love two things. Free ammo and shooting. No self respecting reviewer shoots less then a few hundred rounds. Affiliate program could be doable, however just free ammo in the right hands would return better results and company can write it off. It's a double edge sword however, if the product fails, company will suffer greatly. The viewers will see the review and discuss ammo on boards and social, good or bad.

As for the name, geez thats bad, seo wise. Trying to rank, 2nd amen + ammo. ugh. Personally I wouldn't buy it because of the name, little to hokey. If it were an option, I would sub brand the ammo lines and rank them under the company name. If the hunting and handgun ammo is great, but the ar15 crowd determines it's junk ammo, at least it wouldn't destroy the entire brand, allowing the company to correct the ammo..

I know this doesn't directly answer the questions you asked. Just a little incite on the crowd your going to target. I spend the the winter months in north west montana hunting wolves. It takes 2 weeks to 2 months to track and get a great one time setup. 20 feet of snow, minus temps, miles in the back country. If the ammo fails, I'd spend the rest of the year destroying the brand.

I've never hunted them in the past 20yrs. But the last few years, they are destroying the game we live on. It's one thing for a pack to run something down, enjoy the meal. However they are just thrill killing mostly. Way to many of them. This year alone I came up on 6 kills, not eaten and I've yet to see them return to finish a kill. They are magnificent creatures, incredibly intelligent, I love seeing a glimpse, listening to a pack. They just need thinning. There was a really good reason for the eradication. wiki p wolf attacks, good read, I never realized how many human attacks there were in the past. Don't worry, it's not a hate thing, I love them, it's a management issue mostly. I will say being alone, miles away from anything, middle of the night surrounded by a pack who for the most part has the upper hand. Sure makes the ol'testis ascend.
