Are you using some tool for that data mining? How are you doing it?

Backlinks from high PR sites are strong bls period. If the page's content is relevant to your site then thats a super backlink. And if the domain is highly relevant to your niche....thats a superrrrrrrrrrrr!!

I never try to apply data mining to SEO because of the amount of work required. But apparently the old technics still apply in a big way, but some factors like the age of the domain is more important than what we estimate.

And some other factors like "keyword density" or "historical backlinks" are not worth investing to much time or money. Just the proper amount to not get sandboxed.
