SEO careers in the future...?

Been practicing and working in SEO for a little bit, but I've been delusional lately and thinking about my career. Question has probably been asked, but plz don't flame, just trying to get honest answers. I'm genuinely curious about how SEO will pan out in the future, I don't want to be one of those people and say "aI wIlL taKe oVeR!!!", but I'm not sure how profitable this career will be a few years from now. Cheers!

Ai took over along time ago. People are slow and are just realizing this now. Old news. It'll still be profitable because theres alot of noobs with ai that use it half ass.

The only part of SEO that I find annoying is backlink building, and even though that can't be automated, I feel like creating a PBN would take really long

Really? Well I'm sort of new to the community and I'm learning by the day, but most people suggest guest posting, and I've taken the Brian Dean Backlinko (SEO That Works 4.0) course that talks about building content for "linkreators" to get people to link to your site since the content is so good, do you have a resource I can check out to better my backlinking skills and make it automated? Thanks.

personal opinion from someone who is here because of wanting to stay on top of SEO for personal needs and not as a source of income: in future, being a SEO professional will be more difficult, but at the same time for those who make it, it will be more profitable. I think the key is to use all the tools to figure out the right balance of ranking factors and being able to apply them to different niches. Different niches, require different approaches.
 
The more the people come in SEO, the harder it will be. So in the future, SEO is hard, but will not dead.
 
Higher the competition, Smarter the Google, Harder the SEO!!

Nothing is permanent. Not even careers as doctor. Better learn fast and evolve.
