SEM.Co worth?

It is amazing the amount of money people are wiling to spend on material goods. Now I need to find a way to get some of that money.

Get it, if you have the money, get it. I dont even know why people are shitting on .co's, google will be recognising them as global domains. And even if they didnt, sem.co is a gold mine for anyone who knows how to brand. I wish I could bid for it to be honest :(

Time to sell your possessions on craigslist, you don't want to miss this one.

EDIT: The domain for MY NAME is worth over 3500 (thanks domainmyname.com for keeping it from me), and I don't even make the 50 most common names list. Even if you throw up an autoblog and put it on flippa, you'll make a profit.

its at 1600 right now, i will bet upto 2000 coz i had already paid 300+ for landrush. lets see how it goes

I had put 1700, lets see , we are only 2 who are bidding???

It could be another member who has add to this thread mate and they may be seeing your bidding tactics !

Unless they preregistered it would not matter. That being said, it's probably not a good idea to post your max bid in a forum that is so heavily indexed by google.

lol, 3 players are now in play, current bid 2,051 USD. I think its over for me

the bid will cross 5k i am sure. SEM.co is hot but i dont think it will make it to google.
so no worries. cheer up.

.co domains have already discounted by over 30% if you search around.
so, i think you have done the right thing, and thanks for keeping us posted
with the auction.

I got money, have earned thru arbitrage.... never been in domain selling business....will it be worth to bid more as only 9 hrs left...please advise

No, as I said before - no more than 2000.

I would say 2K is buffer price.

Better go to Flipp(er)a and buy some quality domain over there...
Or the whole service for 2K

Good Luck man

SEM = Search Engine Marketing

IMO, it can easily go close to 10k or even above because that term is very short and very hot, dot co or dot com, it's hot kw!! Get it, develop it, then don't sell if you have a strategy. SEM is very hot and will be volcanic!!! For example, m.sem.co will do wonders for mobile advertising and marketing field. As it is a "closed" auction, outsiders cannot join in now, so hold on and you may own it soon, at around 8K, I guess. If you have the money, think hard & proper then decide! :) It's my humble opinion and it's your major decision... but I think that domain can turn out to be a major money-maker soon.

P.S.: You said 9 hours, then probably it will not even go up to 4.5~5k because of the limited time and number of bidders. I think, if you've waited so long, then it's just a matter of time and you said you have the money too. It sure is a great domain in the right hands.

You have gone into an auction totally clueless

Your business mind is very flawed and as such you shall not succeed on your own.

Who goes into a high value auction and constantly changes their own "max bid they will go up to".

The domain has little value unless you already have alot of people knowing the domain exists. Will cost you alot of time and effort to rank in google with it and in that time i could have taken a 20 letter .com domain and ranked it higher.

Quit the high bidding and get a .com

WOW! I feel sorry... :)

Just check searchenginemarketing.c0m or sem.c0m (replace the 0 with "o"). Those are long-standing top domains in one of the best money-making niches. If the OP gets the .co domain and just talks to these people, they would buy it straight away. If I was in their place, I would have tried to get the .co right in the beginning. May be, one of the bidders is one of those 2...

If you are in search engine marketing, you'd know the real value of the name (acronym actually). and after a time, it would be worth high-$$$$$ at the best auction sites.

srb88 thanks for your advice, I can spend money on this one, but most of the people now saying its not worth to buy .co domains at so high price, I got 15 others .co domains , but this one was good and was really hoping how much I can spend, u r right I am not sure how I gonna use this domain name right now...I have bid for 2201 right now and when some one bids its extended for 24 hrs....so this auction has already been extended for 3 days right now......
