selling kobe bryant shirts

Reading some of the replies and all I think is, man people are weak.

You didn't know Kobe - you weren't his friend or family so stop whining like you were close to him and you're deeply affected.

Silliest shit ever.

You are right about this one. The 99% of world population will always be poor. Business is only for the strong.

Kobe died, like I and you will (maybe quite soon, who knows?). Just there won't be any t-shirts to sell then, when the two of us are gone :).

Take it easy Zbigniev. What I wanted to point out with my initial message was that it is ridiculous (at least to me), what a fuzz people make about a death of a person (any person, in this case a famous one who had a great life and enjoyed riches and abundance), and anything connected to it (for example selling merchandise), when in fact tens of thousands of people die in much more horrible ways each day. And they didn't have the life of Kobe. Yet you won't find a notice about them in the news...

In fact, if people didn't make such a fuzz about Kobe's death, there wouldn't be a business opportunity OP wants to pursue. And if not him, others will pursue it. Because people want stuff with Kobe, and when there's a demand there will be a supply.

At the end of the day our world turns around money. Death of a famous person is also a business. Not my invention, not something I am happy about. But that's just how it is.
I am taking it easy. I just find it hard to understand your argument, and it seems like you do too. :-)

So your point is that it's ok to make money out of someones death, just because 150,000 other people die every day and those people don't come on the news.

I don't care about this topic, so I don't take either side. I was just very confused when reading your "argument", I thought it was something crucial I missed. But now I understand your argument had no point, it was just a bunch of words. No offence.

pretty sure this thread is dead but I sold 51 shirts if anyone is curious, mainly doing facebook advertisement and messaging people in facebook.

amazon merchant is already saturated with it.

the idea needs to be put in action straight away as it happens.

of course competition good for short business methods

Damn.....this is some lame shit! I can't believe you would make money off someone who just died in a tragic accident. You gotta be HARD UP to do something cold like that!

There will always be people trying to earn a penny from these kinda situations or the death of a person. These kinda people would also cheat on their friends or scam their customers just to make money. But its good to see how some of you guys are thinking about this on here...just for the future reference of making business together

The dead rest in peace and walk well.Let's mourn Kobe in a more appropriate way.

Its merely selling T Shirts / merchandise, in reality it helps to keep his name alive and also support the person selling.

Money is just a medium of exchange, nothing wrong with this method and as always, ignore the "white knights" who only prefer socially ethical methods.

They'll most likely forget about him after media coverage ends.

Don't sell t-shirts. Rather you should've hopped on the trend earlier buying his sneakers on stockx. They skyrocketed the week or so after his death.
