Furthermore, cracking a neighbor's connection is hardly possible unless they use WEP or no encryption at all - if they use WPA or WPA2 (as most use these days by default) this would hardly be possible. As well, as someone said, it would be a pretty dick move.
Anonymous possibilities like these look as if you were doing a really bad thing, such as fraud. I doubt you would need anything more than a proxy if you were to, let's say, create many accounts in a site that doesn't allow it.

Uh.. nothing we're doing should be "illegal". Unless you're entirely doing something else this forum was built for. There's no reason to be trying to "hide" yourself (from authorities) if you're doing blackhat SEO. There's plenty of other forums to discuss this, and risk your ass going to prison as well, but not this one

But that's not what this forum is..
This forum is for blackhat SEO - which is manipulating the search engines (by legal means) to rank your website higher in them. Generally this means breaking the rules and guidelines set forth by Google and other search engines. It can also mean breaking sites TOS by doing things like creating multiple accounts.

I have software that unplugs my ethernet cable for me. Cracked version though, sometimes It just hangs half out.
Really though, any VPN provider worth their salt will have a detailed guide on how to block connection If the VPN goes down (or there will be an option).
Mullvad comes to mind, been using them for years.
