I've been using the following method for a non english website.

- Scrape articles in foreign language
- use google translate and translate to english
- use spinner to add a small variation to it
- translate back to foreign language
- use the generated article for Tier 1 backlink building

now is my question.... is there anything wrong with this method? and what about posting almost 1:1 copy of the scraped article? would it matter?

I mean who cares that it's on some random web 2.0 english blog like tumblr or medium you post a article that was scraped from another site.... would it matter in terms of ranking that page? would it see as duplicate content?

kind of confused because I've seen and read multiple times that a clone even scored higher than the original source...

Honestly depends on the quality of the spinner your using... a lot are ass, some are very good and do rank higher, some spinners you can use for tier 1. Most are best for tier 2 and tier 3

So Which article spinner are you using?

Some spinners are shitty. May not pass plagiarism!

Even if it is shit...does it matter ?

I use the best spinner f.y.i. :)

I am also looking to scrape content from a competitor and change it. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a tutorial article?
