That means that your version of scrapebox is too old to work with the current version of the link extractor. So you just need to update your main scrapebox and then you can install the link extractor.

I can't speak for black friday though, last year they did not do anything special on black friday/cyber monday, but again I do not know about this year.

As long as it works, thats all that matters.
They have run promos, years ago. But I bet if anything what happened was they ran black friday promos and people bombed their support box asking for refunds of the difference of what they had paid forever ago and get it for the current low price. That or they had purchased part of a bundle and the new black friday bundle was cheaper so now they want free plugins or upgrades etcc.
Some people do really stupid stuff and ruin it for everyone. Ive seen people ask for refunds for stuff purchased years ago. I know like 1 year they ran stuff for halloween and the next year they ran like black friday or something like that (this was years ago) and they didn't run anything since, so Id bet it was a lot of stupid customer service turned them off.
Of course I can't say if they will run anything this year or not.

Bought years ago and moved on from IM.
Now thinking of getting back in the game,got to start looking into using this software properly.

They always respond in 24 hours or less, so check your spam folder and whitelist @scrapebox.com I mean its been 9+ years straight of 365 days a year responses. At any rate, they will always transfer your license in 12 hours or less unless you have
1 - entered the wrong license details - so go double check you did this
2 - you have already used up your transfer for this month.
That said, if its been less then 12 hours, then please be patient as they manually transfer all licenses.
