Hello, I bought scrapebox a few weeks ago, and I have a problem like the software keep freezing and no longer respond when I harvest urls and I would also like to know how to increase the speed when scraping, it takes me many hours ! Thx in advance guys !!!

if you're using it on your PC it does freeze a lot when it has to work with a lot of data. It's best to work with only a few 100s or a few 1000s of URLs / keywords at a time, or install it onto a VPS.

Also, as far as I know SB's developer is not active on the forum anymore, so this might be an issue, too.... Just use it with smaller lists and you should be fine :) ... Also, don't forget to buy quality proxies because otherwise google will IP-block you after a few queries...

Check task manager to see if it's using too many resources, and if so you'll need to reduce threads. The fact you're asking for how to increase scraping speed makes me think you may have set the thread count sky-high. Scraping quickly and accurately will need a load of Google-passed proxies and enough VPS power/bandwidth to handle many threads. If you need scrapes quickly you might be better off with a SERP API service.

Everyone pretty much covered it. The not responding is more then likely due to the fact your asking windows to do more then your machine is physically capable of. Start by putting connections on 1 and then keep increasing it until it fails and you know how high you can go. As @Steptoe mentioned task manager is going to be good too, to look at your CPU and RAM usage.

Also if you have security software constantly scanning the process its going to slow it down and cause issues. So add an exception for the entire scrapebox folder in all security software.

Lastly you can try with private proxies or no proxies. If your using public proxies scraping from google is going to be almost non existent.
