Tried Scrapebox to extract URLs of websites on the search engine but the software becomes unresponsive for no reason many time. Tried using proxies and without proxies, it give the same results.

Very few URLs extracted. I could do a better job doing it manually.

Contacted their support but they were so slow at responding (1.5 days) and when I received response from them, it was kinda rude.

As I search the internet for reviews, this scrapebox company have many negative reviews.

i have two very old license and so far all working

apart on that i am still using that software for my task
How much have you been paid to give fake positivr reviews about that useless software?

Bike is awesome. People with no skill trying to ride it and fall off. And said the bike is not working. Bike is not safe etc
Comparing a bike and a useless piece of software which have many negative reviews on the internet ?

Thats a logical fallacy.

He’s saying you don’t know what you’re doing with it.

Scraping links on s.e using that software is not rocket science. There are many tutorials on Youtube and I follow it.

The issue is that software become unresponsive many times. When it works, it only gave me a few links even when I use proxies.

Worst of all, the support is rude and the number of negative reviews about that software is numerous on the internet.

Based on my own experience and many others who have bad experience with it, its useless.

Many people have got their software licence disabled and their money unrefunded.

Their software has been online since 2009(2010) and in this business, negative reviews & customers crying about refunds come with the territory.

I’ll ping the software creator & a member here who assists in minor Scrapebox issues on the forum since you can’t be bothered to do 30 seconds of forum research. @loopline @Sweetfunny

Lost my license somewhere. E-mailed them and 5 years later still no reply. There's something going on there.

I'm going to reinforce the idea that you dont know what you are doing with it. I scrape with scrapebox everyday. I have used it since 2013. Here are screenshots of a fresh scrape I started yesterday. I already have more than 2 MILLION urls scraped and its only 12% finished scraping. Yes. There will be errors in any automated task like this. Thats the way it is.

If you want some help you could just ask instead of whining about your lack of skill and understanding.

Scrapebox is a website scraping tool and a powerful automation tool. It’s not just for scraping, it can also be used for most automation tasks.
Scraping is not always a useful tool. However, if you are looking to obtain information that is hard to find and you need to extract it from large amounts of data, scraping can indeed be useful.
I am still using it for some basic task. If you have any problem you can ask @Sweetfunny

Similar experience as many others who give negative reviews about this software on the internet.

Customers requested for refund but Scrapebox disabled their licence and they run away with their money.

Followed all the tutorials and the software become unresponsive.

Many others who give negative reviews of the software complained of the same issues.

I can get the latest Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Autocad, Solidworks run on my computer smoothly but that piece of outdated looking software becomes unresponsive for no reason.

Do you even understand the problem??

No, I don’t really understand the problem. I don’t know what your hardware specs are, what your settings in scrapebox are, I don’t know what your download upload speeds are.

Do you understand the problem? Probably not. And even screenshots with dates in them showing you the product works won’t change your mind, because it’s very clear you are harassing scrapebox support trying to get a refund over $57.

Comparing those top notch, very expensive softwares to scrapebox which has a lifetime license for $57 is a logical fallacy, Dr. Phil. You can’t compare them to SB simply because of the large teams behind them and steep cost.

If you don’t like scrapebox there are other scraping solutions out there. The one I have in mind costs $299 to get in with a fee every 6 months to continue getting updates. If you want to pay a bunch of money to satisfy yourself, there’s options out there.

If you want to scrape the web cheaply, learn to use scrapebox properly.

It’s really as simple as that.

Good luck.
