Is scrapebox is still good for SEO?
I want to build some hgh PR backlinks to my buffer sits where will be links to my main money site.

I want to know if scrapebox is still good after all this google updates?

yes, it is still good as any other tool if used properly and wisely

do a search and read around how people are building backlinks post penguin

Yes it still is good for SEO, I don't personally use SB but lot of my friends tell me about it.

A tool isn't bad for a sites SEO, ever.
The issue lies between the screen and the chair.

You mean for tier 1? I'd never do that for my sites
Tier 3 or above is good tho

Never ever use SB for tire 1 backlinks. U can use it for tier 2 backlinks. Also for tire 1 don't even use manual commenting from non related sites.

Actually ScrapeBox is excellent for what you mentioned http://www.scrapebox.com/manual-blog-commenter

Just because it can blast 100k lists, doesn't mean that's what you must do.

Every SEO tool is a help to do your manual work faster, if you do that manual work in a wrong way you cant blame your hands only your thinking and knowledge about SEO. So Scrapebox is the same like your hands it will do all your work faster than yourself doing it manually, but it will harm your website if you dont use it wisely using post penguin update system etc. Every tool is working, you just have to know how to use it.

I still use it most days and most days am doing white hat link building.

If you dont know how to use it then stay away. On bhw there is a thread about SB tutorials. Man you need to see it before you put hand over it.
