Scrapebox for Page Authority from Moz

I've been trying to make this plugin work for about a week now.

It seems that in Scrapebox there is a feature to find PA and DA of any link by using your Moz credentials.

Unfortunately, it never runs. It only starts up and closes with no error or warning.

Has anyone figured out how to get this to work or another alternative?

If it pops an error box that offers you to send the error to support, then thats an error that is caught by the internal error handler.

IF it pops a windows style error log with no option to send the report, then that is an error outside the scrapebox code.

If there is no error box and it just closes then something is acting upon it to force it to close.


So if there is a scrapebox error box, then contact scrapebox support.

If its a windows error box, then it could be security software or it could be any 3rd party app causing an issue or it could be a broken windows dll etc.


If it just closes and there is no bug report in the addon folder, then its most likely security software or something in your network. So make sure you add an exception for the entire scrapebox folder in all security software, as simply disabling security software still often allows existing rules to still fire.

Unfortunately none of those solutions work. I am using a new PC and removed all blocking software on it. Allegedly "1000s of people" use this plugin daily. Can one of those 1000's let me know what version you're using or something? This Page Auth plugin so far is a bust.

I use 2.0.0.15

I don't doubt its thousands, scrapebox has been installed on more then 2 million machines. All you have to do is look at the sales thread here on BHW, its gigantic. even my videos have more then a million views, which is crazy as only a fraction of people that use scrapebox watch them.

Its working for me. You could try another machine if you have it, and transfer it to there. Thats kind of a last resort, or try a VPS. But if it just closes down then something is killing it.

Have you tried different internet, like a mobile dongle or friends network as a test?

I ended up buying the Premium version which conveniently works
Well played, that's one way to get sales I guess. Albeit, pretty shitty thing to do.

they don't do that, they are not like that. I mean think about it, scrapebox core is worth $300 but they sell it for $67. The plugins are all worth $97 each, at least, but they sell it for way less. If they were about the dollars they would just raise the price in the first place.

However every addon and every plugin is literally a stand alone app, it has its own md5 hash and it only uses the core of scrapebox for licensing.

so every addon and plugin is a unique software from a security software standpoint. Meaning security software has no idea that a pluign or addon is related to the core of scrapebox, so they will block each independently.

So your issue is your machine or network and something causing the problem. If your solution is to buy a plugin and use that, thats fine, but your current problem may begin to affect the plugin or any other software you install on your machine too.

Experiencing the same problem at the moment, have you bought the metrics plugin or the moz premium plugin?
