Hi guys ive recently bought scrapebox and think its a great piece of software for many uses....

The only problem ive found is that when submitting comments I found that SB shows successful submissions but when checking these successful submissions to these blogs I have found no case of my comments being populated within the comments field....

Can this problem relate to the type of proxies - your geo location or computer?

cheers guys:)

They first have to approve your post before it will show as a backlink. Thats why great comments are a must. There are not many blogs around anymore that are auto-approve.

Harvest some Blog Engine blogs then run them through the Blog Engine Analyzer add on. Take the unmoderated results from that, post your comments and then check your backlinks. You should see a high percentage of comments that auto approved. Those are the ones that I use my keywords as the name since I know they don't have to get approved by a moderator.

Make sure to create quality spun comments..... and try to not use anchor text in the name, you will have a much higher success rate. I prefer to get URL pagerank and manually comment on the most worth while blogs. Remember Scrapebox does ALOT more than commenting :plane:

Your domain and/or ip could be banned by akismet, in which case all your comments to blogs which have akismet protection (almost all WP blogs) will be deleted.

Blast more blogs to increase your success rate, buy a auto approve list. But it takes time to build your own auto approve list so, make sure you harvest enough urls.

I also use scrapebox, and I am not satisfied with the results. My comments are submitted, but when I search for the backlinks at the so-called "posted entries", I find only 15-20% of real submission. So, the results for me are not the same as I expected.

Probly your comments are not specific enough to non auto approval blogs.

Just do this exercise, check one of the links where your comment was accepted, and have a read on all other comments, they have little to nothing to do with the article content, if yours is similar you will share the same fate.

Obtaining an approve list is the best solution. Dont waste time building your own. Buy one and fill it with many links

I'm also having trouble, specifically with WP blogs - very few backlinks actually showing up when the program shows many submits.

To test this I submit a blog comment on one of my own 3 year old WP sites, which is Askimet protected, just to see what would happen. SB showed a successful comment post but when I logged into my WP backend to look at the comment there is nothing there at all. Nothing in comments, nothing in spam, nothing anywhere.

I do fairly small runs, use private proxies and my comments are spun and reviewed by me prior to using the software on niche related blogs.

Not sure what is up. I have a previous version of SB but it gives me a license error. Guess I'll wait for a new version and try again, not sure what is wrong.

So does that mean scrapebox cannot bypass the security powers of akismet? I have heard a lot of comments about akismet that it's a real big pain in the butt.
