Scrapebox and Instagram help

SO I need to scrape instagram for people that mentioned a specific url in one of their posts or in their bio and I cannot figure our how to do it.

I have tired to put "site:Instagram.com" and "inurl:instagram.com" as the footprints and then the URL i am looking for in the keywords section. I got some small results from this (around 350 urls) but nothing like im expecting. The account that owns the domain im searching for has 10million + followers so im expecting that the number of posts with the URL will be much greater.

Can you give a specific example?

Most likely what the issue is that the more specific the query the sooner google cuts you off. Its not uncommon for them to say they have X thousands of results but then return only a few or omit "similar" results.

So you may need to do

query keyword

like

site:instagram.com URL keyword

where keyword is

a
b
c
d
1
2
3
4
green
car
etc...

So you force google to return different sets of results from its database, then you just remove duplicate urls when your done.

Thank you for getting back to me. I just got done watching your footprint youtube video when I saw you replied.

But I have tried to do what you are saying... i think. Do you mean actually add the keywords

then in my keyword box i have the two URLS that im searching for as well as hashtags that those sites trying to promote.

I am now getting around 1400 results but when I go into IG and look to see how many times one of the hashtag is being used it shows 10k+ results.

Well not every instagram post is indexed in Google, that's why. You can probably scrape profiles, but def not pictures with #

You are right. I didn't even think if that in the first place. but it certainly makes sense. I mean how could they index every post fast enough. But I followed what loopline recommended and got a few more results. roughly 1500 so that will do for now. if there is a way that you can think of for me to scrape just profiles who mentioned the site or the account that would be greatly appreciated.

Just go to google.com in your browser and type in your resulting query, how many results does google show? Can you click thru to the 1000th result?

I mean if google only shows 1800 then its irrelevant how many there are, google only knows about 1800 and your only going to get 1800 max from google. Just picking random number of course, but you get the point.

Also don't get caught up in the footprints and keywords box in Scrapebox, they are the SAME thing.

So if you put

site:instagram.com

in the footprints box and

car

in the keywords box what gets submitted to google is

site:instagram.com car

same as if you typed

site:instagram.com car

in the search bar on google.com

you can put keywords in teh footprints box and footprints in the keywords box. The only point they even serve to make it simple to type out 1 footprint and then merge it with a bunch of keywords. In fact you can use the merge feature and get the same effect.

I almost always put my entire footprint string complete with keywords etc.. all in the keywords box and never even use the footprints box. Do as you like but don't get caught up in the symantics of the names of the boxes and thusly overcomplicate things. If you tell me you want to do X, I can tell you half a dozen different ways to do it in Scrapebox, with just about anything. That is the great thing about Scrapebox, its a suite of tools and functions that can be combined in so many ways its excellent.

I am wondering how I use scrapebox to scrape instagram hashtags. I am looking for instagram emails in my niche to get new customers. Any help would be appreciated.

Not an instagram expert, but could you not just do

site:instagram.com hastag

and run that on google, and then run the email scraper on the results?
