ScrapeBox 2018 browser ping mode not working?

Hey guys sorry I'm new to scrapebox, every proxy I've used to ping my site with fake referral shows as error failed. Any ideas? I got hit with referral spam and I thought it was kind of funny and want to be able to do this as well.

Are you using the regular ping mode or browser based ping mode?

What is the error, does it give you any details, like a number?

I assume you have tested these proxies and they pass the anonymous test in scrapebox? And they are private or public proxies?
 
Hey loopline, thanks for the response. I was using browser based ping mode and it was failing because of blocked public proxies. It just said error down at the bottom, no error numbers or anything. I've got it working with private proxies now. Thanks so much for taking the time to try and solve this issue.
 
I guess you need to test proxies with browser first before using it. sites are getting smarter to see if it is a proxy or not.
