all im saying is homeless people are street smart , if they found a cell phone on the ground they would know exactly how much its worth. some might even turn it in to the police while others will trade it for 10$ crack, even though they "could" sell it on CL for $300. In this case i don't think they were scammed. They were given an opportunity to make cash and they knew what they were doing,, you dont just go into a store and buy 8 cell phones and then say you're the victim. So why dont they take the phones and sell them for $600 each? well maybe they dont have the cash to buy the phones at $100 each,, but they still have 2 choices, they can take the money and JOIN the scam or they can decline the offer. If the scammers lied to the homeless and said they were signing papers for housing or something and then went and bought cell phones without them knowing then yes that would be scam. But in these case I say they willingly participated in the scheme to rip off the cell phone companies, and good for them because f-ck the greedy anti net neutrality service providers. Hey, they could have taken that $100 and bought jr vip and then maybe they wouldnt be homeless anymore,, who needs credit when you can pay everything in cash and stay in nice hotels with good lamps!
