hello everyone,
I've tried posting a dispute thread against a member called @GameLabXtention, who scammed one of my friends out of $400.
however, the mods deleted my thread for the reason of, "It is not a BHW issue as it did not begin on the forum and the person who is in the dispute with the seller is not a member here.".

that said, I’ve seen other dispute threads approved, even when the op hadn’t initiated any pm with the seller before getting scammed off-site. additionally, my friend does have an account here, but he's not very active as he relies on me to find sellers for him, and I explained this to the mods but their reply was, "Unfortunately I think your friend will just have to take this one on the chin and move on.".

since I’ve lost the opportunity to force this scammer into either delivering the service or refunding my friend's money to avoid a ban, I thought I'd post my thread here instead. I want to at least warn other members to avoid dealing with this person and protect their money and time.

it all started when he was offering to sell facebook accounts. I referred his telegram username to my friend, who needed such accounts. it has now been 13 days since my friend made the payment, but he hasn't received anything. he kept coming up with fake excuses every day or two delaying the delivery until he decided to clear the chat history from my friend's account and mine.

I should also note that during that period, my friend had to delete his telegram account for opsec purposes and then created a new one, but he naively didn't take screenshots of the chat because he was trusting this guy with his money.
however, I was able to obtain proof of payment by tricking him from one of my other telegram accounts. I pretended to be a new client to get his wallet address, and he stupidly fell for it!

now let's start with the proof process:
here's my messages with him when my guy told me he didn't deliver the accounts after 2 days from his payment:

here's my friend's messages with him afterward:

here's him clearing my chat history as a sign that he did scam my guy as I suspected:

and here's me warning him about opening a dispute thread against him. he read it and then blocked me.

and here's me tricking him as a new potential customer from my other telegram account to get his wallet address for proof purposes:

now for the payment proof, here's my friend's $400 sent to his usdt (trc-20) address above (you can see that the payment date matches my guy's screenshot of his messages with him on the day before march 6th, which is 5th as shown in my first screenshot above):

and one last thing, if he claims that he did deliver the accounts to my guy eventually, let him send them again to me or my friend in a pm on the forum, screenshot it, and then post the image here for proof as that shouldn't be a problem for him, right? ;)

stay safe!

Why you'd send $400 to a random person without first seeing a any proof they have the accounts is crazy to me. If you're going to do this, make sure it all happens on BHW so you have some kind of recourse.

He's a scumbag for scamming but it is a good lesson for you and your friend.

I actually found him on here. So I wasn’t aware he was a scammer but you right lesson learned

I do follow somewhat similar set of rules. Like I won't deal with someone who hasn't made his BHW profile visible to all. That's a red flag too IMO.

well, it's not hard for scammers to show fake/real proofs and then scam the buyer.

That was real and really honest.

IF is a real seller, I don't think that after taking the time to show evidence / proofs of his work he will scam someone.

However, if a seller does such a thing, that’s not a seller, is an undercover scammer.

true, but some sellers do exit scam eventually after getting good reputation on the forum, so you may never know their current intention unless you use some escrow service with them somewhere.

I've always suspected he's a scammer; the items he sells are very cheap, and he refuses to do escrow transactions.

SH*t. I just paid him $300 for review removals a few days ago.

Start a 3 Way DM with them, you and I and I'll do what I can to make sure you are not hosed.

But what if you are taking pre-payments? Will your rules stands? Noting down things for myself. I don't mind doing post payments for members like you, as they would not want to risk their account banned whatsoever.
