I answered technically, but my personal view is that if someone wants to work with an escrow, the fact that BHW don't have one shouldn't hold him or her for doing so.

Finally someone who understands. People here believe they are entitled to all sorts of things. I mean you want an escrow deal? Go to escrow.com

I saw it multiple times on the sl threads. The buyer never does his due diligence and when they get scammed, it's up to btb or other mods to fix their mess.

100% entitlement...0% accountability.

I also have no opinion really on the matter, but what I'm sure off is that an escrow service will NEVER be a solution when it comes to digital services. Good luck implementing that on seo or social media quotation.

But when you buy from Amazon, you are paying Amazon, making them liable. On BHW, you pay the seller directly. BHW is not a part in your transaction with a seller.

Would you blame a mall for buying a poor quality shirt from one of the stores?

It keeps the threads easy to read and the discussion flowing, and it can also save you from receiving an infraction for post count inflation.

Would you never again buy at that mall or at that store?

The mall is not responsible for what happened in the transaction between you and the store. But unlike the mall, BHW has a whole procedure that is designed to try and get your money back or get the seller out of the marketplace.

This is not only your right to post a dispute resolution thread if you were scammed, but also your responsibility, to make sure it doesn't happen to other users.

Last thing, I ask you again to post one comment at a time instead of posting them back to back.

Where was I not respectful, when I pointed out where I think you were wrong?

Think about who would leave a review about the forum rather than about the service they purchase from a seller here. Most probably one of those who were kicked out.

Have a nice day, and I hope you reconsider your request to delete the account, and launch the dispute resolution thread so others won't get scammed by the member you said scammed you.

G we all got scammed sometimes in our life, BHW has nothing to do with it 99% of members here are amazing people it's the 1% scum that you need to be aware of, be carefull who you buy from, how good of reputation they have etc. Heck this guy didn't have many real reviews to begin with (He had mostly review copies) + didn't have his website + if you went into his post he had a lot of spam too which you can figure out by person message/reaction score ratio. Don't blame BHW and others and say that platform is paradise for scammers.

every cyber crime forum have mods which works as escrow agents and regulate the transactions between buyers and sellers via crypto. They get a provision for every transaction.
Why can we not adopt this for a legal forum?

I don't know anything about cyber crime forums or what they have.
Most guitar forums also have a second hand marketplace, why don't we have one of these, too?
You know what? why won't we have every single feature from every single forum that ever existed and call it a day?

What's the fixation on an integrated escrow service? You can literally use every escrow service on the planet.

many peoples here are not from tier1 countries. Escrow providers does not support all countries or visa/mc/paypal are not available and bank transactions via Swift are very slow and expensive so that the most peoples prefere to pay in crypto. But the most escrow providers does not support crypto because they have in the country the regulation of money laundering. thats the reason why the most forums work with escrow agents provided by the forum owners/admins because they have the biggest trust

If you think that a wire transfer costs more than an escrow service, I have some really bad news for you.
You can't have it all, you have to compromise on something.
Either transaction fees, allowing you to use escrow.
Security, and then use crypto.
Time, and wait for MP2.0.

i think they said no due to legal reasons, like they would need tons of licenses, regulate what products you can sell etc
