yh a big loss for me but sadly that seems to be life nowadays with these scammers out there but at least other members on BHW won’t get scammed by this person now.
I think a note being put on their sales threads to reflect this outcome would help and stop other members from contacting them on their socials. Or the links to their socials being removed would be good as well.

Of course the tool doesn’t work or I wouldn’t have needed to add this guy to the dispute list and get banned. You don’t get banned for providing a working tool it’s that simple, all the evidence was provided to show the door doesn’t work.

But this state of mind is disturbing.
They keep asking for features that are not required for them to do what they want to do, and then say that the lack of these features hurt them personally, as if they couldn't have used them anyway.

escrow service was brought up many times in the past, but from what ive read, with the amount of sales that are conducted, the type of payments, and then disputes that happen at a later date, it wasnt feasable to integrate. not to mention if your selling something "frowned upon" in some countries, i wouldnt want to provide details or funds to a 3rd or 4th party

Escrow brings with it all sorts of regulatory and compliance headaches as well, which would include more responsibility on BHW ownership in regards to how they determine what counts as "work completed".

Usually the sides determine the definition of "work completed" beforehand. The escrow has no side in that other than determining if all the requirements have been filled. It's either 0 or 1. Similarly to a smart contract.

Yeah true, but holding money for a 3rd party would still bring more paperwork. And you're right, there are escrow platforms already established people could be using

I'm not for or against BHW launching their own escrow service, nor am I speaking for BHW, I hope it's clear.
I answered technically, but my personal view is that if someone wants to work with an escrow, the fact that BHW don't have one shouldn't hold him or her for doing so.
I believe that some people prefer complaining rather than solving their problems, or at least expect other to carry them toward a solution rather than make the effort themselves.
