One question: I haven't used SB for long now but I'm back to it for a small project but having troubles. I remember the good days when it could blast to 500k URLs in one go w/o hanging but now I'm having troubles with even 50k
Your thoughts on it???

Try using the crashdumper, if it starts to hang again check the file to see if SB is still posting. You can tell if new urls get added to the files while SB 'hangs'
Also, you may want to ask your VPS dudes if they can monitor your RAM usages, bandwith and all that and see what actually happens to all those things when SB hangs.
Other than that, I don't know buddy. It could be 1000 things.
Start by installing a RAM manager.

Does anyone else NOT have any problems using their private proxies to harvest blogs? I have tried using the public proxies but they take over an hour to scrape and clean. Then when I use them the results are far from good.
I have no problems scraping the blogs using private. Even if Google bans the ip for a little while, I will still be able to post on the blogs.

It hangs and I doesnt crash, and I can't even click on minimize button. And I tried that crashdump thing and noticed that it had stopped posting...
Gonna try with some RAM manager and see if its a RAM problem or what.

Update:
Another 300k done to my INNER pages.
However, I made a big rookie mistake. I forgot to change the comment file so I used the comments from another (unrelated) campaign. Let's just say that the comments make no sense whatsoever to the webmaster getting it.
Anyway, I am sleeping and my blackberry is going bananas! People are adding my personal FB account to complain about my spam
Anyway, I dropped from #15 to #18. I think it is due to spam complaints. Could be just a coincidence and a Google Dance, we'll see.

Maruk, your the man, +rep and + a few thanks, appreciate the SB inspiration and detail you have gone through. I JUST got SB, haven't even used it yet, this is a GREAT thread for me to learn from, going to go through this for a 2nd time, take notes and put some of this to action as I have no clue what I am doing lol when it comes to SB, working on a new site of mine, EMD, 1 article at 100% with SEO Pressor and 3% keyword density. I ordered a linkpushing packet last night and going to SB this new site and some articles, want to see what I can make happen, I am sure you will hear back with some questions, thanks again!

Yeah sorry about that, I had to remove my Yahoo ID and disable PMing because I was getting bombarded with questions. Not that I don't want to answer them but I am working and then 3 or 4 PMs in 5 minutes would pop up and a couple questions on Yahoo hour later I am done answering all those questions (maybe). And knowing myself, I just can't say no to anyone asking a question so I had to do it this way.
If you have a question, please ask it in this thread as long as it does not compromise any sensitive info regarding this project.
You know what, nobody has a clue what they are doing when they start but believe me, after 2-3 weeks of intensive use you'll get the hang of it!
I hope the article is lenghty because I don't believe the Google algo will be able to base a ranking off of a short (400 word) article alone. At least not in your favor.

It is about 850 words, I am ranked on the 2nd page already with a strong article, low competition keyword, I am putting another article in today to help out the rankings, then start banging away at it with SB, we will see what I can do, ordering 10 proxies today as well
