Safelist traffic - worth or not?

Does anybody have experience with safelist traffic?
I want to use this traffic for affiliate product sales. Is this traffic worth or not?

personally I would say no, I attempted working with safelist traffic, it's a huge headache, fills your "dedicated email" very quickly, very monotonous earning your credits from for different sites for very little to no results.

The thing is that most people set up a dedicated email so they do not flood their personal email with emails, then they click a few every now and again to gain credits, noone actually stops to read your emails, they just want the credits.

I assume that you are looking in to free traffic sources, honestly you should look at social media. It is free and can be very effective.
