Rules for Bot Makers

I agree 100%, person who did not write the bot or even don't know coding cant provide you with good support. It is happening before on BHW with SEO services as well.

It should be transparent and we must be able to see if person sells his own staff or simple resell others

48 of @Cesarios 68 posts are currently either "72+ hour bump" or "PM sent" as well. If we are attempting to cut down on "order placed" and "review copy plz" spam, should we not extend this to sellers, under similar caveats as the don't force people to put order placed on your thread?

I understand that no rules are being broken at all as the rules for the Marketplace currently sit, but this is blatant spamming of a sketchily obtained product at best. Again, I totally understand his situation, he spent $500 on a Marketplace Seller account and has likely not yet made back what he put into it.

Agreed - I like the 72 hour limit on bumps, but I think if you're going to bump you should have some kind of information other than just posting "BUMP" - what updates are being worked on, any specials, etc. At least then you're contributing to the thread instead of just trying to move it to the top. If you don't have any actual update info, maybe like once per week or per two weeks at most.

Also, Ubot Developer is $600 - $1000 depending on when you buy it, $500 for a marketplace account, a few hundred for all the whitelabel scripts, and $30 x 10ish threads would require earning $1600 to $2000 minimum just to break even, so I get why he's trying to bump for sales lol - doesn't make it any less irksome though. And if he bought them all precompiled through another seller he may not need the ubot dev license, but the cost of each compiled bot would come out to be quite a bit of $$.

I'd gather a good portion of sellers on this site do not provide/create the services or products that they sell. There's always a middle man somewhere...

There is nothing wrong with a middleman if any seller is clear ab out that.
1. The mods before approving bot sale thread asking if the seller is the developer and handle updates responsibility , at least that's what I faced before getting my sale threads approved .

Looks like the solution has kinda been done already then going forwards then, judging by the dates of your threads and the other bot sellers

I think the issue will be that some sellers think re-badging a program makes them the developer. I'm not a techie about this, but it does look glaringly obvious to me when you find multiple bots that look the same, other than some cosmetic changes.

If as @Sherbert Hoover mentions above, the same product is being sold 3x on here, then that is ridiculous to say the least.

To be honest, I don't think any seller needs to mention anything about this. When you sell a product, you are the one responsible for it. If you are using the services of a supplier to provide the product or service and they screw up, that's your issue to fix and not an excuse for your failure to provide the product or service.

I've seen a few Shit Lists where the reported individual has used the excuse of blaming their supplier for their failure to provide whatever they were selling.

Lol this is hilarious.. Did not want to post here, but a guy buying code, reselling that code to another guy who sells the bots again LOL ... They have never heard of using Google and easily find all of that info.

By the way, if you watch one of the older YT video along in the old BST it is the YT video of the original creator. Nothing wrong in my opinion if they resell, but
a) make it known
b) state if you can make any changes when offering lifetime licenses or monthly licenses

The problem some ppl might have ran in here is they of course were rude, just as you qould expose someone at work for not knowing the shit they were hired for ...

I knew this from day one, just like the FB script is from codecanyon etc.. Again in general not a problem but as has been shown if there is an issue you are fucked.

I'm not selling a direct service. The bots were made with Ubot studio and use the same plugins as stunabots. In addition, stunabots doesn't offer "a solution to every problem" like Cesariosbots does. (I know this because I have ordered from stunabots and was unable to retrieve a refund when I couldn't login to my account)

So is this the gist of what is going on, or am I missing something?

The IM Autobots bots were made with Ubot Studio, a product for sale here on BHW by @SethTurin.

@stuna then took the products developed by IM Autobots from Ubot and sold them as his own, and offered some for free. But essentially was reselling a reselling service by @HelloInsomnia.

@Cesarios then took these bots from @stuna, which he received for free, and is reselling the resold reselling service from Ubot's software and @HelloInsomnia? And is insistent that these bots are his own coding?

If such is the case, a comparison of the code between IM Autobots, @stuna's product, and @Cesarios product should show the truth pretty quickly. It seems pretty obvious right now that Cesarios threw together some rebranded batch of bots and bought a $500 Marketplace seller account to try and make a quick buck.

Between this and Master Duster's completely failed Instagram bot that he took and resold from CodeCanyon, I feel like there should be a Marketplace rule that bot sellers need to be able to prove that they are the actual developers of their product. Otherwise, a promise of support and updates would be relatively useless.

Problems such as these truly affect the trust and legitimacy of all products on BHW. I mentioned this Saturday here.
There are 100% the exact same. The creator is offering them on his site, along with other useful stuff. These 2 guys just made some minro or ugly logo changes so it seems that they changed the bot. If you look at the original site's YT video you will see that the bot is identical to the other 2 sans the fugly logo this last guy did lol.

So, if I were to buy one of these bots, do I need to have approval to start a sales thread, since they've been looked over in six identical sales threads?

How will you verify if the seller is the developer? No one in their right mind will hand over source code to prove it. I don't think reselling is necessarily a bad thing, because you can you get shitty customer service from both coders or resellers. I'm obviously very biased here though haha ;-)

You are really too much.

Fact
- You bought 100% of all your bot's source code be it From Stuna (if so great you paid double or more than the original source lol) or directly from the original coder
- You insist you are different in some way, but you are not. Your website, shows you are in no way a coder, even throwing up a quick WP site was too much it seems lol
- You come across as very rude , which makes sense again you have no clue how to make any of these bots, and of course they use the same plugins because you bought the same source code

In addition, stunabots doesn't offer "a solution to every problem" like Cesariosbots does. (I know this because I have ordered from stunabots

So you can fix the bots yourself if an issue arises?

Yes Cesariosbots offers a "solution to every problem" (which other bot companies mentioned here don't) and will give refunds only if the buyer provides genuine proof the bot doesn't work.

Please stop leading your responses w/ "Cesariobots" like your some official software development company, it's disrespectful to us REAL developers out here.

You've been caught red handed and continue to promote your shitty service that you have yet to make profit on which is fact!

Just take this thread as a lesson learned that people on the internet, especially the bhw community, will find out if you continue to sell BS software. Close your threads and forget this ever happened to keep the little dignity you have left in this community.

Thank you!

I'm going to respond to your PM in this thread as @stuna needs to read this as well. The problem being highlighted in this thread by @Asif WILSON Khan is that the bots you and @stuna offer are identical and not your own work. Therefore, the different policies you or @stuna may offer is irrelevant. There's nothing wrong with defending yourself and had you simply highlighted the positive attributes of your business (e.g., "My team and I take the time improve my bots after purchasing them and work hard to ensure our customers, who have yet to complain about my bots, are satisfied") instead of tossing in that all-encompassing slogan and mentioning how you scoped out your competitor @stuna, then I wouldn't have said anything.

But one thing I will say is that this thread has devolved and become focused on you and @stuna specifically, rather than the problem of bots being resold in the marketplace. I'm sure you can agree that there should have been no need for you to come in here and defend your business, so because of this, I will be closing this thread in 5 minutes.

Edit: Five minutes has elapsed.
