can't help you. I just wanted to say that I've just created a website 1 month ago (well, the domain is 7 months old) and I have added 2 news sections: USA News and UK News and I'm pulling news from the government's websites in these 2 countries and display them in the sidebar (along with credit given to the URLs on the government's websites in each post, obviously) and I noticed in my GSC that one of these RSS'd articles have gotten me 500+ impressions over 2 weeks period... I actually got 3 clicks too (very low CTR, only 0.7% or so), but I don't know whether this trick (adding RSS feed that automatically updates itself) hurts or boosts my rankings. Over the last 2-3 days both the clicks and impressions have decreased, but this might be because the piece of news that have gotten me these clicks and impressions might have gone out of trend or something.

Thanks mate! I am mostly worried about getting penalties because of duplicate content, but simply disallowing would work I guess.
