so if I have already published an article but I want to add some keywords or want to change some phrases is this ok to do so?
if I have a crappy article ranking on position 90 and I rewrite the article could I improve the ranking even to the first position?

Ranking doesn't revolve only around content, there are a lot of issues to take into account. But good content could definitely increase ranking. If you have a good article and only want to add keywords to it, you can leave the written text and just update the article with text below.. If you want to change it all together, you can do that too, but you will lose whatever you have built till then, it will be considered new content..

rewrite as a new page, than modify it a lot . yes you can.

Yes, it is very much Ok to do. After making the change, ping them to google, if it is not set auto in WordPress setting

It does not work this way, what do you mean by crappy? Content does play a role in ranking but it is mostly about content length, its relevancy and usage of H1/H2 + keyword/LSI usage. Crappy is quite subjective and I do not know how you are defining crappy here.

You must Rewrite Content but don't lose Quality

1. Convert a list into a series of individual pieces of content.
2. Take several related posts and combine them into a single summary post.
3. Draft a White Paper
4. Revise an old post for a new audience
5. Update an old post with new information
6- Don't remove the content which is already in post. Just improve it

Its an option, but be careful in maintaining the quality!

I would write a fresh article and optimise it with your keywords.
You can take the original content and rework it.
Ping it, share it.

If you rewrite the content with good quality, you will really gain the benefit from the extra effort.

If you improve the quality of content, the rankings will also approve. There are other factors for ranking like backlinks created for the article.

If you do a better job and if people start reading it, yes it will reach the first page. Make sure the quality is rich in content and unique. If you copied it from somewhere, make sure there is no trace to find that you copied it from a post. Add keywords, images and some links. You shall be good to go. Good luck!

This is really important. If you get caught for plagiarism of any kind - thats it for you.

Yes you can rewrite the article. Keep in mind the age of it. Some articles take 6-9 months to get correct ranking.

While you writing the article your content should be unique, you have to add backlinks from highly trusted sites, and add more guest posts to increase your ranking.

Don't forget to use canonical :)
Hello there! I have BIIIG question, I started my blog too I use a autoblogger/rewriter/translator in that specific order. Currently, I'm using the canonical which points where I get that article from, my question is being this article unique(is spinned and after translated) Should I don't point the canonical for the original site to rank better on SEO? because it will say that I create the article?

I've been thinking about it but I cannot find a solid answer! if you can shred some light to me I will be glad buddy.

Add a few trending keywords, give it a good headding and a meta description and most likely yes you can do it.
