Rewriting works or not ?

Yeah, It works. I have tried it myself and it work's very well and those article's also rank good enough if your articles are good and unique, so no problem at all.

I recon adding couple of your personal stuff in that content aswell.
 
It definitely works. That's why I often laugh when I see people asking about PLR content all the time. Rewriting that crap is not too good overall, but using existing high quality articles as a guide to creating new content - that definitely works and can rank well.

Yes you can do this and rank high. Just make sure they are 100% unique.
 
Rewriting is fine as long as its 100% unique and it has concepts from more than a single source.

If it got to do anything with Google, No it won't work in long term.

But you can definitely make it work in short run.
 
Nobody in the world experiments stuff or discovers something everyday before writing about it. Even the big three like Google, Microsoft and Yahoo probably does not do it. Everybody learns something or the other from other people or resources. Super Authority websites such as Wikipedia and top news sites combines multiple such resources to provide sort of a mini-encyclopedia on those topics.

So, everybody rewrites stuff in one way or the other. Every damn authority site also does that. Even news sites copy or duplicate the same news in hundreds of sites. At times they are direct copy of resources such as Assoicated Press. If not, they rewrite the same news in a different manner probably by a different reporter. Sometimes, the same reporter writes for multiple news websites and the lines are also similar.

There are a whole lot of copying/rewriting going on in the super authority websites too. Just think about it.

If you are simply copying points and learning stuff and then rewriting them if possible with some of your own observations and addition, that is a super authority article too. So, do not worry bro. :)

As I explained earlier, do not copy direct. Take points from different articles and combine them with your own observations and inputs and even Matt Cutts won't touch you. Nobody in the world no matter how high an authority they have will have 100% fresh content. Unless they are locked inside some room with no communication with the outer world and in a remote island, they JUST CANNOT provide 100% original and new content all the time. They also need to read or learn from something. Everybody learns something from others. There is no reason why good content with points taken from multiple sources combined with your own observation or additional points cannot be used in an authority websites In fact, if it takes points from multiple authority article and combines with your own observation and additional points, that is a super authority article and a possible link bait in that niche.
 
It worked for me too :) and it do rank also . I think it will work 100% if its a low or medium level keyword ( In terms of competition )
 
It depends on how well your rewrite is. You should be able to get away with it when you put it in copyscape and passes.
 
It is hard to say i have got as a good result of this and my ranking is improved. So, Your rewrite will work there is no problem.
 
Whaat would also help is to write in the 3rd person, as in he did this, he did that.He got such and such a result

How can they DMCA you if they can't even prove that you copied 100% of the article? A guy I used to follow said it like this "just re-writing someone's work is plagiarism, taking ideas from 3 or more sources is called research".

Depends what OP really ends up doing for his site but grabbing ideas from 3 or more high quality articles and making his content 100% unique is kind of a no brainer. It's not a new idea and has been done even before the internet was around. Curious to how he is going to scrape the good parts though :D???

Rewriting is good if you are building a site just for search engines. If you build it for people then why not write an original article instead? Rewriting takes almost the same amount of time and effort imo, minus research :)
