Simple question, do rewriting article in a way that it turns out to be 100% unique helps or not for an authority website ?

what i will do is this:

pick 3 or 4 article about same topic and scrape the unique points in them and rewrite them so that they become 100% unique, will that work?

That's fine. I've done it many times and those articles rank well :)

I believe it works. I have tried it myself and now I rank one of my articles in #1 in Google for a keyword with about 1000 searches with a rewritten article. (low competition keyword). If it is 100% unique I don't think you will have any problem.

If the content is of the highest quality you probably have nothing to worry about, in the end it's all about what's going on your site itself.

Backlinks mean a lot obviously, but content is (and will always remain) king.

if articles you scrape are good and based on real facts for example, so no problem at all. If you scrape some low quality articles, it will be hard to make something better from them.

yeah, obviously

there will not be any need to scrape for me if i want low quality!!

i have seen some people say that if you rewrite their content (basically their idea is in that article) then they will DMCA you and you will be affected due to that(massively), is that true?

They cannot report your content to the DMCA if it is 100% unique. If it's 100% unique and it contains a copyrighted image, that's a different story...

Even when idea (you understand this?) is same ?

We'd need an example to know where you are going with this. They might try a DCMA, but what is unique about ideas?

If it is something like "7 Ways to ... " and all one does is rewrite the same seven points, yes, that might get DCMA'd. It is stupid too.

But, if one does five points, and sort in different order, perhaps including one of their own, then hard for someone to claim it is uniquely their idea... Especially if it is in a field with lots of discussion (e.g. SEO).

What if they still DMCA'ed you ? Can that be reversed ?

Good question.

The original requester may just be bluffing. But, you don't know. And, is it worth the cost and time to fight?

If you voluntarily took the content down, you already played your hand. Is it worth whatever the risk for putting it back up?

Maybe some blackhatter here got one and can explain their experience if they ignored it, or subsequently reloaded the content.

Whom should I ask?

Most people are not replying me because of my infraction, I think

Rewriting articles is very good housekeeping.
Being copied is just what happens on the web.
And updating keeps you clean.
If you are ranking above any sites that copy you have no problem
The problem is when someone copies you then outranks you
You just have to rewrite.

Ultimately you are making articles 100% unique. So there is no problem.

Yep its fine as long as it is 100% Unique and perfectly readable for your users. I do it all the time. Infact a month ago i took a 2600 word article and re-wrote it in my own way and my article is ranking higher than the original one i re-wrote.
