It is simple... raise the paycheck of public educators, thus increasing competition. That being done, students in even public schools will achieve greater lengths with teachers that want to teach. Wait 10 years, and now these kids have jobs. They have learned to be competitive, and will grow the economy in all of the right ways. The thing is, this will sadly never happen because the governments (namely USA) are spending way too much money on random useless shit. Even a few extra billion will have a long-term ROI. Want to know what the sad part is? I am of the age of an average highschooler, and coming up with these ideas. On the other side, politicians cannot seem to get their heads out of each others butts.
