Looking for residential proxies that allow for session control (maintain the same proxy for the duration of session).

Sessions may be anywhere from a few minutes to half a day, and I have other needs for proxies that persist for a few months at a time.

First, I'm not sure if residential proxies can be set to persist for that long.

Second, the prices I see for the few places offering residential proxies are bonkers. Luminati's prices don't even start below $500/mo, and as far as I can tell from their data rates, they'd be charging me thousands.

The only other option I've come across is Oxylabs, and I'm a bit confised as their pricing sounds iike monthly rotating datacenter IP pricing, so like $170 or so for 100/month. I've contacted them and haven't heard back, but I don't understand what that means. If they're residential, doesn't that mean they can't guarantee any given proxy will be available at a time? So does that mean the 100 is constantly changing, and they're charging for 100 concurrent proxies of whichever are available at that time?

If so, that's great, but it's not clear as it reads more like the traditional list of 100 that you can refresh each month.

Anyone using them? Any other service that can give access to a few hundred residential proxies per month with full session control that won't break the bank?

LUMINATI gives you access to Residential proxies, heard good reviews about them,

I contacted them first, but if I recall correctly, their pricing would cost me a new car every month due to data charges. Charges per IP used or something along those lines will likely work in my case. Charges per data are likely to be MUCH more expensive.

Also having an issue where some only allow a single IP as a point of origination. My situation is the opposite witth lots of tiny individual machines that only need 1 proxy at a time. Due to the mismatch, one literally quoted me nearly a million dollars a month. To put that in perspective, datacenter proxies for the same use are a few hundred a month. I don't mind paying a bit more, but it has to make sense.
