I suggest BlackHatWorld to remove the limit of 15 Posts to send PM. I just ordered some services and want to reply to the seller and I can't. It says I need 15 posts... It is very frustrating I can't reply to my seller...

I suggest you simply make 11 more meaningful posts and add something to the community.

But I can understand, I've made only 8X posts and been on the forum for years.

While registering your account here you accepted the terms and conditions used by this Forum. Why whine about them afterwards?

I personally think that it's a good move... nobody wants to be spammed to death by dummy accounts

To be honest, even if you have not posted much in your 2 years here,
(and averaged 1 post every 6 months in that time)
it is incorrect of you to make such a request.....

IN FACT many more experienced members will argue that in fact
the post count should be INCREASED not DECREASED.

If you had read the recent threads and posts on the forum,
you would no doubt be aware of the need to do so,
especially when BHW works so hard to keep
spammers and scammers away.

I trust you understand.

Pm is not the only way to contact the seller u can also contact him on Skype,mail..etcthe restrictions have been put to stop spamming once u have a long stay at the forum u would understand people who want to spam ask questions like this!

Dude, don't order any more services until Jan 2017, you should then have 15 posts, problem solved.

Every sales thread have the skype id contact or the website of the seller where you can find the sellers contacts so if this was your problem you have the solution right there, but it looks like this is not the problem.
Your join date is Sep 2011, and you never posted anything???

Nothing personal, you have been here for years and don't know the rules. Your negative rep says it all. I think you should work on that and increase your post count with meaningful post. While am in support of removing the restrictions to reply to PM but not to send new PMs. This is done to check mate spammers. Giving you a rep for been here for years and for my believe that little post means little vulnerability.

Just find threads relevant to your work profile (or interest or niche) and put your inputs (meaningful). How hard is that!

Nothing personal, but your text above seems to be confusing.....eg I do not understand these:

"my believe that little post means little vulnerability."

"This is done to check mate spammers"

"Giving you a rep for been here for years"

What are you trying to say, you have repped him for being here for years?
or you have neg repped him for not posting so much and being a more worthwhile contributor for all this time?
May I remind you that many bona fide members here actually spend time reading and implementing methods,
and do not (for whatever reason) post that much, until and unless they wish to do so?
No one is forced into posting or making contributions, it is up to the individual,
of course being more active does help the dynamics of the forum,
but he/she should not be penalised just by being relatively inactive;
.....as for opening threads such as this? ... well this entirely another matter altogether :)
(after all it is a bit like the tail wagging the dog)

I would MUCH rather see members here participate more, but
IMHO, it would be better that a member remains in good standing,
and only posting when THEY feel the need for it, and feel that they wish to contribute in the future....
better that than posting some garbage which has been discussed many times before, or
even just posting stuff to eventually lead them to attempting to scam or spam.

I hope you understand what I mean in this post? Cheers

with respect - when you joined bhw the rules are there for all to see
15 posts to send a pm, many threads have been made about this by users
such as yourself with accounts 1/2/3 yrs old with 1/5 posts asking the same
question

the 15 post rule is in place to STOP users flooding pm boxes with spam
trying to sell stuff which is what a lot of new members with low posts
and old accounts with low posts do. i could understand your complaint if
the requirement was 50 posts , buts its a lowly 15. most active users here
can do 15 posts in a few days, if you sir only have 4 after 2 yrs the fault
is your own.

in closing, bhw will not change is stance on 15 post rule due to pm spam
become more active, 15 posts is nothing...

Well, of course we agree with the rules when we sign here, but we can talk about them.

I am new here and for me the 15 postings rule is disturbing. Now I need to find some interesting topics to reach that amount. Well, it will take some time but I will get my 15 postings.
But what I want to say is that there must be another way to stop spammers.
For example an idea could be if you have less than 30 postings, you must fill a captcha for pm'ing someone. Or is this a bad idea?

Captchas are too easy to break with software/services.

What is so urgent that new members need to pm that it can't wait 30 minutes for 15 meaningful posts? (as mentioned above, sellers have other contact details)

The 15 post limit is meant to discourage spammers, not real people as 15 posts is really nothing for someone who wants to become a part of this community.

Removed i was on account i made during the site problems
