Hi,

We've been using iPhones remotely for our marketing needs and recently started thinking about offering it as a service.
Using iPhones instead of computers is obviously better since it's much harder to fingerprint the device and block it. So it's (at least in our experience) the best way to browse anonymously for any need you might have.

We were thinking of offering iPhones in the US only to begin with and charge based on the type of iPhone. User can switch ip with a click of a button.
This is not proxy or anything like that, you are browsing on real 4G LTE ip's on an iPhone as a normal user.

Since it cost a lot to setup and maintain we will need to charge quite a bit for it and wanted to know if there is any demand for it before setting everything up.

We though about charging $85 per week for iPhone 5, $110 per week for iPhone 6, and $140 per week for iPhone 7

Anyone here has advice or anything you will need / want in this type of service?

Personally I think it's gonna be too expensive. Cheaper for people to use proxies / vpn service or similar,
But I might be wrong.

That's a good point. years ago we used proxies but From our experience proxies and such get blocked really fast from opening gm ail, yelp, etc accounts and get suspended pretty quickly because it's hosting ip's.
Also, with an iPhone you get unlimited amount of ip's

What would be a good price point and service you guys would like to have with this type of service?

you must slash down price with 50% and period shud be fortnightly. I might be wrong :)

Anyway, let me know once u start providing this service. I am interested.

Price seem's high but understandable regarding the cost associated with this. Why Iphone though? Seem's like a waste when you can get some cheap android device to achieve the same result? Only difference will be android vs iOS. What I am wondering is what type of marketer would be interested in such a costly setup?

We rather use iPhone as google track every android device with UDID and In iPhone they can't do that (if you setup the phone correctly) which makes it perfect for use with google products (GMB, reviews, gmail accounts, Yelp etc)

Comparing iPhone to a computer - on iPhone (if setup correctly) you don't have any issues with cookies, fingerprinting, etc that cause google Facebook, etc to identify your device even when switching Ips.

We might offer remote android service for cheaper if there is demand for non google services (it will not perform good with google products)

This service would be nice for Facebook Ads accs Farmers, but we would need the abilty to use multi iphone profiles like with Android Xposed Framework

The pricing is what gets me... $85/week for iPhone 5.

I can buy a used iPhone 5 on eBay for under a hundred bucks and add it as another line, with unlimited data, for $20/month. You want $12.14 per day [for iPhone 5] so after just 9.8 days it becomes cheaper to do everything in house plus I gain the ability to just reach over and use the phone rather than use TeamViewer. I can restart the phone anytime I want for a new IP. -- Your recurring monthly cost is $340 but after 9.8 days it costs me $20/month to run in house, saves me $320 a month.

Even if I go with an iPhone 7 it becomes cheaper to run in house after 3 weeks. I just can't see anyone paying $140/week.

As far as fingerprinting, there are better ways. iPhones might be easy but it's certainly not the best way to browse anonymously. If you want to stay anonymous, you sure as hell don't use a device with GPS capability.

This is true if you have offices in different cities across the country. for local marketers it's important to have ip's in different locations and even though restarting your iPhone will get you a new ip it will still be in the same location you are in.

Regarding GPS you can disable that and I don't see it as a problem. 3rd party apps can't have access to your GPS location if it's disabled. I haven't found a better way to perform local marketing, Facebook, etc on a scale with a computer in the long run. Computers are much easier to identify than an iPhone

What locations do you have currently?
We didn't start yet. As I mentioned we are using it in-house and considering starting to offer it as a service if there is enough demand.
We currently have iPhones in New York, Atlanta, and Miami

You seem knowledgeable in this field, so if I may ask some questions..

Why not setup a back connect proxy on the phone and use something like bluestacks for your clients? That way multiple clients can access the same IP and u can use tasker for easy IP automation

This might be good for other things but for google / Facebook / yelp / etc ip's will get banned quickly, reviews will get deleted, and GMB places will be deleted, etc

By using an iPhone with real 4G ip's like a regular user we are making sure this is 100% normal user behavior and there is no way, ever, that google or any other service can block us or identify it's not a normal user accessing their site or app.

Regarding bluestack - while this can be used for non google services it's still not as secure as using a real iPhone. The only way to get close to a real iPhone is to setup multiple accounts with separate UDIDs but this will not be as smooth for the user as simply using an iPhone.

like I wrote earlier, we might offer android version of our service (which obviously will be cheaper) for people that don't want to use it for google but we are personally won't use it as I believe the saving in price doesn't worth the lower quality and being able to act 100% like a regular local mobile user without any way of detection
