Regd. Content Creation -

Warm greetings!

I am on my way to start my second website and I have a question on content creation.The website will be monetized through amazon affiliate.

I have already carried out the keyword research. Let's say my niche is mobile phone. There are around four main keywords like Best mobile phone, best android phones, best iOS phones, best Windows phones etc. There are many other keywords with less competition and great monthly searches on sub parts of the above keywords. Taking this hypothetical case, they are affordable camera phones, phones with 4GB RAM, cheap gaming phones etc.

I've got two strategies for content writing:
1. Write individual posts on all the keywords. This will be a hell of work. But I can do it. I suppose I will have to write around 55k words for this. I will write 3k-5k articles on the main keywords. 1K-2K long articles on the secondary keywords with links pointing to the secondary ones from the main keyword articles. Basically I will be following a silo structure here.
2. Write posts on the main keywords like best android phones, iOS phones etc and targeting the less competitive keywords in these posts itself.

I'm confused what way should I go? I've seen that most niche sites have opted for the second method.

Suggestions from experienced people are welcome!

I would go with a mixture of both and then see which one yields better returns.

If I were you, I would go with option A. Silo structure

Make sure you have a bunch of secondary keyword articles so that it will create a lot of relevance to the subject.

You could target more low competition long tail keywords within your secondary keyword articles too.

Yeah , I have got good number of secondary keywords to create a descent silo structure.

I think this will work for me. Let me do it within couple of months will give an update here.
