Need help with reddit have a negative post that shows very high on Google need to either make posts talking good or a way to remove it.

I have had a similar issue. I reported some of the comments and the moderator removed them. But the thread is still there. I have tried to report the thread, we'll see how that goes. My plan now is to push out content on LinkedIn and Facebook to try to push the reddit stuff down. It really sucks because it can be quite damaging.

get their names by visiting https://www.reddit.com/r/SUBREDDITNAME/about/moderators, just change the SUBREDDITNAME to the appropriate name.

You can only change the subreddit name if you started the thread, right? Or if you contact the moderators directly will they change the name or even delete the whole thread?

if a negative post was started in a subreddit "pics" then visit https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/about/moderators and get the names of the moderators. Pester each one with an explanation why the original post should be deleted.

Just report the post or talk to the reddit mods and provide enough evidence that they takes it down or do some blackhat way to take it down!

I appreciate all the reply's for sure. I've reached out to reddit and the mod's with no dice basically my friend was a ticket scammer for many years but he changed his life around as a software engineer. Reddit says even with a legal order theres no guarantee for the removal. The post has over 40 upvotes and 10+ comments. Perhaps I can buy 5-10 accounts with good karma and post in other subreddits speaking highly of his name and other it related things. Tried to reach out to settle the debit but poster says the post has more value then the dollar amount. Karma at its best.

Does it work for old threads? Is there also any specific period of time when the posts are downvoting?
Never used blackhat for reddit.

And I mean that in a positive way. Just look at TrustPilot, when companies respond to negative reviews it makes the reviewers even more upset, more likely to call "bullshit" and makes the company look scummy trying to hide public opinion.

Agree, but at some point the whole thing becomes not just talking shit, but also losing potential customers by misleading them with such negative posts

An alternative to hunting down pages that talk shit is to have a response page on your website.
Maybe try starting some new threads on reddit to gain back trust?

It depends on the TOV that the company agreed to use in communication w/ customers. Reviewers may be upset, but if the company uses facts and adds constructive details to prove the accusation was wrong, it's not about 'who's making whom upset' anymore.
