Since google has came out with many updates have the method changed for ranking for a day on google ? For example just blast links to your domain.

What is this One day google rank? I am seeing this kind of one-day results in google news only

maybe the future of SEO techniques! who knows.
Practically speaking with the current algorithm updates You can't rank unless you have quality content. Even though blasting tons of links will not work like the way it was.

Thanks for that. I was thinking more for sports events on the day to bank with.

All those kinds of algorithm bein used for blocking this kind of technique. Before with all PBN, blog commenting and GSA fires we used to reach the top within one month.

But with the recent updates few sites taking more than a week to index. Indexing tools also not working like before. so It's that not easy to crack the search engine nowadays. You have to treat like regular blogging. They want us to spend money on the Adsense if you are looking for event-based traffic.

Best way to rank for events is to start early enough and build a solid domain.
Reuse the same event url in following months/years.

Otherwise you can only use adwords

The old churn and burn methods don't work anymore. The patterns are too easy for big G to spot.
