Hello,

I have one article on TOP2 at Google and i have a good question about that...
To be honest the article is horrible... I don't know how the article is on TOP2! But i'm receiving 5k hits per day from Google (is not the best keyword, but...) and i want to change the whole article... I want to make the article more professional and more complete!

My question is: If i change the all article or like 75% i gonna lost the position on Google?
I'm a mess with SEO, maybe is a easy question to answer but yeah...

Thank you all.

If it's not broken don't fix it comes to mind. But... It's only a matter of time until Google figures out the bad content, or someone reports it as poor when trying to compete with you. Personally if you are acknowledging that the content is poor yourself then I would be improving it and hoping for the best.

Save the old article first on your PC so you can always put it back. Keep in mind that one single change might affect it and the article might move from 2nd place to 100+ and stay there for a while. After that it might back to first or never come back. I would not change it at all. Maybe it's better to add one video in the beginning with explaining what is the article about so you will redirect the visitors from the start point. But just save the article before you change anything. Good luck.
