Ranking a Niche specific classifieds website.

Hello.

I have created my niche specific classifieds website. After researching my niche I have seen that it is dominated by one website, I researched the website and picked out the most promising keywords that they are ranking for.

But I wonder how to rank a classifieds website? Any ideas are appreciated

It still falls back to the basics! Onpage- Offpage! No matter what niche dont be distracted by the fanciful adverts and all.

For on page - h1 , h2 tags. Meta tags, description ,etc
For off page - good backlinks, referring domains, niche relevancy.
