How to rank a YouTube video ? Any Tips, Advice from YouTubers here??

I heard that crating massive backlinks for a video can get it to rank for long-tail keywords. is that correct?

I don't think so, if you want to rank your videos on youtube u should invest on comments, likes but the most are high retention views that is far different from ranking websites.

Links dont rank videos inside of youtube, social signals and some embeds does. HR Views also.

HR view and social signal definitely coz in my country a video with 200k views is on trading WTF that , video is of 1min and is a meme so any idiot will share it

Ranking each tag and video is complex, but ultimately it's based on watch time per impression. This means you need a high CTR (nice thumbnail and title) and then drive high watch time once viewers make it to your video.

Very high quality SMM views, likes, comments, social signals all increase social authority and can help with ranking. Cheap SMM services with low watch time generally stop the video from being recommended.

YouTube wants you to keep people on their platform so they actually teach you how to do all of this in their creator studio. They even provide you all the analytics to help you succeed.

What me helped the most in the past was boosting my channel with HR Views, its getting more difficult to find a provider that has a good reputation and actually delivers those HR Views. You need to do some serious research on good providers if you wanna get good quality views.

Other than that everything already has been listed basically. Some real engagement on your channel can always help you to get your video ranked higher in the Youtube Search Engine.

On more thing i should say is that you do wanna focus more on quality then quantity if you are building up a white hat channel. If you wanna make it in the Youtube Game you have to post content that is watchworthy and people really wanna watch it, either because they enjoy it or their needs are getting met.

Agree 100% here. I consistently boost my white hat content with quality high retention views and social signals and it has a very good effect on my videos.
