RAM versus SDD

SSD would be perfect , 128 would be fine , if you have to store more data then go for 128 ssd and 1tb HDD for storage , would be best !

SSD. You could have 1 TB of RAM and not get any speed increase. RAM is only useful if you don't have enough. If you have 4GB please upgrade it, but if you already have 16 or more, it's useless unless you use some really heavy 3D software or games.

I don't understand how people think
They make living from PC and they always want to spend as much low as they can on something that they make living with.
This is the 5th thread that you ask about how to speed up the pc
Buy both ram and ssd.

9 out of 10 times if someone is asking this the answer is SSD.

and

16gb of ram is sufficient for the average joe.

ram and ssd , also make a format it will help a lot , or use a cleaner program

It really depends..
What is your current configuration?
If you are on HDD then SSD with obviously give you a great boost.
But again, if your current RAM is not enough for your system basic needs then.. you will need to add more RAM.

Also use SSD only for your system and most important things.

Nowadays 8GB RAM + SSD is viewed as "basic build"

Working in rdp would make my pc slower and worst case it gets crashed. I have 128 gb ssd and 8gb ram.

ram is for running programs, if your ram usage is constantly over 80% while you are working, you might want to upgrade your ram.
ssd is for boot, opening programs, saving every little thing like browser cache, ... and hdd is waaaaaaay slower in doing that. so I suggest to EVERYONE to add an ssd to their computer.

I bought a new one after every thread. But it still becomes slow as it gets old. So I should consider buying a new pc every year now?

Do you have viruses?
Are you running low on RAM? Buy more RAM.
Is your disk slow? Buy SSD.
Simple as that.

No need for that
So you want to tell me that you bought a PC last year without the SSD?
When I do i make sure that I always get the latest thing in the market
Like not just SSD but NVME
Bought the latest processor on that time and at least 32 GB of ram so i don't have to lose time and upgrade each time

Is your PC slow in general? An SSD itself won't make your PC super fast.
If you have to compare SSD with HDD, an SSD will always be better in terms of speed.

I have 4BG ram intel core i3 3rd gen laptop. What should I change first to get significant results. add SSD/ or increase Ram??

Your RAM is low for today's standards. Buy a new laptop, your CPU is also slow.
