I never even liked that BitConnect
i read these clowns are already promoting some other crypto related scams, so many scammers unfortunatley
Don't understand why people actually kept on buying after the news was out tho
Even h3h3 is getting in on the cryptocraze.
Down at $7.99 as of today.. too bad
Guys check Carlos Matos twitter profile, he is still promoting it lol
This guy claims to have bought a Lamborghini from proceeds he made with Bitconnect, but he couldn't afford a dentist?
That stated, the people who promoted Bitconnect are like the Prophet, Robert Tilton. Remember him?
This might scare a few crypto shillers on Youtube.
Bitconnect lawsuits are stacking up and here are the defendants listed so far. Lawsuits specifically name YouTube personalities.
Bitconnect International, PLC
Bitconnect Trading LTD
Trevon Brown a/k/a Trevon James, an individual
Ryan Hildreth, an individual
Craig Grant, an individual
John Doe No 1. a/k/a Cryptonick, an individual
John Doe nos 2-10, individuals
Bitconnect International PLC
Bitconnect Trading LTD
I saw this the other day, I think it was ***** that had tracked down that Trevon dude to a hotel he was hiding in.
Things are going to end badly for some of these people.
I'm not a lawyer, but it seems unlikely the youtube shillers would get anything other than a stern lecture by the judge.
Guys like that asshat Jim Cramer on the CNBC channel shill crap all the time and it doesn't always go well for the stocks he says to buy/sell.
Still though, they will have to pay expensive lawyers to handle things for them.
I think the suggestion is that the big promoters like the ones you mentioned were in on it from the beginning and might allegedly have known it was a big scam from day 1.
Or that's what the people who listened to them feel - but people who lose money do like to find someone else to blame, so that might not be true.
Reading the reddit comments, I think it must be a combination of both. Some believe Trevon and those guys were somehow part of the project. But most (all?) don't want to the accept responsibility for their own failures and admit they were taking financial advice from a bunch of random people on the internets.
I'm glad I didn't follow Trevon James with this.
Was he well known before Biiiiittttttccccoooonnnnnnnneeeeeccccttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then?
Good shit, take down those fuckers
The dude was hyping the thing in his every post. Now he caught the hype. The law suit kind of hype lol
All the Youtube guys for bitConnect deleted all their videos.
During the 'discovery' phase of the project, no doubt a warrant will be issued for Google to cough up the backups.
If the videos become public domain through the trial process, some angry investor will probably get copies and put them all right back onto YouTube. Lol.
Separate names with a comma.
