Hi,

I have a event blog. Based on one particular niche. One keyword repeating every post.

Variable + "repeating keyword"

So in the posts, titles, urls, and the content, the "repeating keyword" needs to be used.

So does it affect in terms of keyword density?

I used to rank 1st page for every post when I got started. Now I rank 2-3rd pages.

No backlinks built, purely content based.

PS: Inputs are appreciated, I will reply after 10-12 hours, its gonna be 3 am so not being rude by not thanking the contributors.

Mmm.
It looks like keyword cannibalization. It will damage the website ranking definitely. Try to use different keywords in different pages.

What you did is "Keyword stuffing". Using a same keyword in a high density for an unreasonable number of times, when crawler finds this out, you will have drops in the ranking. Try to avoid repetition of same keyword, do a keyword research and choose few more keywords and use it wisely.
