Quick Question About Buying a Pinterest Account

Hi everyone, I have a quick question about Pinterest. I'm purchasing a Pinterest account from a vendor, but he's not providing the original email associated with the account. Instead, he's asking me to create a new email so he can update the account with mine. Could this cause any issues with Pinterest in the future?

Advertise on BHW
Ask for OG Email, it's possible they could reclaim the account. You can also check the vendor reputation, if they have a good reputation then you might be good.

I met him on Twitter honestly so I don't know. Once you changed the Pinterest email, can it be reclaimed?
 
Without access to the original email, you may have difficulty proving ownership of the account if any issues arise. The original email is often used for verification purposes, password resets, and important account notifications.

I don't fully know how the back-end works, but I have purchased 2 pinterest accs and one of them I got the OGE and one of them the owner just added an email of mine. As to my knowledge, both ways are secure, but obviously having the OGE helps in case anything happens down the line. I don't know if they use the same setup as IG where you can just reset passwords with the oge.

They just make my email as the pinterest account email . Seems working fine for now

Ask the vendor for the original email. If they can't give it to you, it's safer not to buy the account. This way, you’ll have control and avoid future problems.
