some idiot just did a paypal claim on a thing of mine - does anyone know how this works:

Deny this refund request but continue communicating with x

Escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim.

is denying the refund really that simple? Can I just pick the first option and go scottfree?

In any case he can escalate it to a claim, and then you will have to negociate with Paypal, which will act as a mod and decide who is right

if the amount isn't to big just give him the refund if you value your PP account or make a claim and convince PP you are right (this can be tricky) and that guy is wrong

is he just doing it to be an ass?
yeah it was chump change I got a similar and higher sales 2 minutes later... but he was being such a smart ass in the paypal thing that I'm raising it to a claim.

Paypal better side with me... I'm a paypal advantage member or something since I made 5k+ this year lol.

yea drop paypal that is the best way, but seriously bump it to a dispute and talk to the help desk

Go to claim and give them the proof of your side of the story.
If it seems like threatening your account/business, then better refund the guy.

Was it a digital product? Can it be returned/service discontinued from your side?

You have to speak with paypal regarding this issue and claim that in your side its true or else you cant get your money back .
