Greetings all,

I have a quick questions regarding amazon affiliates approval... if i set up a wordpress site that sells amazing products woozone and i set my site up to be SEO friendly etc can i expect approval or is there different method i should use to get approval first?

I am a web developer so i can get the website is top shape its just the affiliates side im unsure of...on the same topic once i have the site completed and its selling amazon products is there any other platform i can use to promote the site/url?

If anyone is willing to offer some guidance or a bit of mentoring it would be greatly appreciated... for years iv made money designing sites i would like start investing time in a more automated process :)

Thanks in advance.

hello... this is the best thing that you make your own site and promote Amazon product then ask for the approval
yes you can also use SEO to get traffic on your site and if you want to be an affiliate manager then promote your product on your site

As far as I know Amazon looks at your website to see if it's spam or you are actually trying to build something useful, so don't worry about the seo part. I would make sure the site looks good (read, non spammy) and has decent content. Also don't forget about their disclaimer after you get approved.

To promote the site, there is no magic to it, good niche selection to have a chance if you are new to this type of 'business', good seo, maybe social media. Also, and probably most important, good ol' fashioned perseverance. Be prepared to fail and try again.

Thanks i decided to focus on tech products for sales as its something im interested in so hopefully im able to put valuable blog content and reviews on the site that Amazon and the search engines would appreciate... my next step is finding sites where i can promote my domain link on i suppose to build that online presence... unfortunately there is no budget for paid for services just yet only time :)

Just ask them for approval and if you don't get in, they'll let you know why.

If it doesn't get in for a reason you can't manage, create a site that 'does' get approved and then just use the code on your original site.
