Question : Will my plan work ?

Hi. I'm a newbie.

So basically I want to make some cash using free resources. Then I will purchase domains and hosting.

I want your opinion on my plan, to see if it will work.

I want to make a blogger blog, and post 5 unique long tailed keyword articles on them ( 1 per day )
On the blog I will have some affiliate links and banners, and since the content is only about one niche, I guess they will pretty much convert into sales.
Then I will do my best to post 2-3 posts per week.

The problem is traffic. So here's the traffic plan. Mostly SEO, ( high volume, and also targeted )

( Backlinks with Squidoo, Hubpages and Article Directories, Social Bookmarking, Forums and Blog comments )

- I will build about 5 Squidoo lenses, each containing some links back to the blog, and one link directly to the affiliate offer. ( also other niche related banners/ads provided by Squidoo )

- Then I will write 10 articles ( also keyword based ), and post it to articles directories.
Article 1 goes to 3 main directories, article 2 goes to more directories, article 3 goes to 3 main, article 4 goes to more directories, and so on.
Each article will contain a links to my squidoo lenses ( depends on content ) and links to my blog ( if possible on every directory )

- I'll make some videos, about 5 ( 1 review, and 4 power point presentations about the content in my articles )
Videos will link back to my blog.

- And in the end I will bookmark absolutely everything, start manual promotion on forums, blogs, and try to bring traffic from there aswell.



What do you guys think ?

Is this going to pay off sooner or later ? Do you think it's a good plan ?

How should I build backlinks ? All links back to my blog ? Or a scheme is better ? ( Lots of links to Squidoo lenses, to build trust to those lenses , and then Squidoo lenses -> Blog )

Do you have any other suggestions, ideas ?

Sounds like your in it for the money. The thing is people could detect what I called "BS blogs" from miles away. This is what I tell many, "you need to build relations with people". Start building your own brand.

Yes but I don't want to invest the money for the domain yet.

The content will pretty much be quality.

After I make a few sales, I will get the domain, and link my old blog to the new one, and stick with it.

Yea, I agree with outofblues, you wouldn't believe how important "you need to build relations with people" actually is, especially if you are planning for long term income and to actually sustain your longevity...You could make a quick buck with what you're already doing, but human relations creates trust, confidence, professionalism, quality and so many others, this will pave the way for you to generate a continuous wage.

Domains don't really cost that much money, unless it's already owned in some way or another...I say just buy the domain now, forget the whole "make a few sales" thing, and focus on building a community, following, group list etc to gain trust and then slowly introduce products with different strategies.

Don't think about money, think about visitor satisfaction. Then money will think you :greddy2:

Will your plan work? Who knows. Could it work? Yes. But one thing is for sure, without quality, unique content, there's no long-term future in the plan. Quality content is king, mate.

The only way to find out if the plan will work is by testing it. Your plan is generic, that's not to say that all plans need to be unique but you need to find what works for you. Not all methods will work every time, it all depends on the execution of the project not the planning.

its not all about the money, and to tell you the truth.. nothing safe in this bussines, you can't know it will work untill you test it...

yes it's good idea and it will work. First you should make decision after a long thinking,once you think that then do that.

It can, although, I would go for VERY LOW competition keywords. Nothing more than 500 searches monthly so you can hit the first page with your free blogs. And, I would recommend using wordpress.com or squidoo.com for the main blog rather than only to link from. Much higher quality than blogspot even though it is owned by google.

But firstly check out the keyword competition and visitors!
If it's good to rank, then go ahead to the next steps.
With linkbuilding I prefer this method.

It helped me a lot, and my kw jumped from N/A to 25# with half-linkbuilding time (I stopped because I was busy with studying). Blogger is the best way to start for newbies, once u will learn SEO, then in the future start serious with MNS and build your empire!

As mentioned by many other members, you should be focused on delivering quality content and creating a pleasant user experience. Your plan could work in the short term however long term it will not. That is also a ton of work to be doing just to have to do it all over again later once your sites get penalized. Even though it will take longer, you should take an approach that is "user centered". Develop content for your visitors that is useful and engaging. Stir up the pot and get people to comment. These things will work out much better for you in the end.
