[Question] Transfer domain. (DCMA, Security)

Guys here is the thing. 1 year ago I purchased a domain for my project which started as totally legit and then became a streaming website with DCMA violation.

Right now this domain is registered under my real information even though not exposed but it's on namecheap and they do give up your information easily.

I want to transfer my domain to offshore (njal). is it safe to transfer?
Will they lookup history owners of a domain or only look for the current owner?
Is it possible to do this as securely as possible?
Also, what is my options here?

Please let me know what you think.

How famous is it site?

i'd recommend to get a offshore domain and 301 the current domain to new one... also if you're in a country where copyright laws ain't a big deal then you can directly transfer this offshore.

I really like my domain name and users like it as well.
The site is not famous yet but it has 1500 unique visitors on a daily basis.
Will authorities like look for historical owners of the domain? and track down the first registry in namecheap and ask for the previous owner information?

They can if they want... depends on the damage. If the corporation wants to set an "example" - they will do everything possible.

The website is an anime streaming website.
Without video being hosted in it. just embedded links to external domain.
 
Transferring to njal is safe. They don't care DMCA. Only Swedish court order is applicable. They will not give any information to anyone outside from Sweden.
Use No Log VPN to create your account & Pay using cryptocurrency. Edit your domains Registrant, Administrative & Technical contact info before transfer your domain (For mental peace).

Why use VPN if it's secure? also njal instructed me on how to pay via Paypal securely. You transfer funds to the wallet in Njal using paypal. You wait few weeks and then transfer the domain. They do not keep PayPal information.

If you use VPN, your ISP can't see what you are doing. If you pay through cryptocurrency for example XMR, no one never know the money trail. njal will protect your privacy, but why not add some extra layer of security ?

I shell use VPN in the future. regarding XMR, I know it's secure but there is almost no way to get it in my country and it's a lot of headaches.

Yeah, Cryptocurries are illegal in some countries, Usually I buy BTC from localbitcoins and then exchange BTC to XMR from binance.
 
All transfers lose WHOIS protection for a short amount of time, good chance someone will pick this up.

For this reason, I advised him to edit domains Registrant, Administrative & Technical contact info before transfer the domain. :)
